This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle WA every Tuesday and Wednesday and remote all other days.

The Search Personalization team is redefining how people connect with homes by creating a personalized and engaging search experience that helps millions of users find their dream home. We power some of Redfins most visible featuresincluding the Homepage login and registration systems and home discovery tools like Favorites and Saved Searches. By joining Search Personalization youll help shape one of the most impactful parts of the search journey building experiences that make home discovery simpler smarter and more personal.

About therole
You will leverage AI code generation tools to document architect and create code.
You will stay up to date with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem and help evaluate new tools models and frameworks.
You will develop responsive resilient scalable and high-quality software using React Java AWS and various other tools/libraries.
You will balance the trade-offs between complex infrastructure investments and quick pragmatic solutions to meet specific business needs.
You will collaborate with other engineering and product stakeholders to define design and develop projects taking full ownership for leading projects from start to finish.
You will mentor and guide other junior engineers
Aboutyou
3 years of professional full stack software development experience developing full-stack customer-facing applications.
You have experience using AI code generation tools tools such as GitHub CoPilot Anthropic Claude Code Cursor or similar.
Proven track record of designing building and maintaining scalable high-performance web applications.
You love elegant interfaces that can tell stories and inspire trust.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment handle ambiguity and empathize with customers.
Youre curious and a life-long learner: youre willing to take risks and champion new ideas.

On-Call Expectations
This role may include participation in an on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure service reliability. On-call responsibilities may include coverage during nights and weekends. If applicable frequency and scheduling will bedeterminedby team needs and communicated accordingly.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is$139100.00-$170100.00.The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus incentives and other employment-related benefits including but not limited to medical dental and vision benefits 401K retirement plan and paid-time off.
