Software Developer

• $58800 annual Exempt
• 40 hours per week
• Hybrid Work Availability: After successful completion of a 6-month probationary period up to 2 days of remote work per week may be considered.

The Software Developer is responsible for building multimedia training software and applications for various target platforms. Primary responsibilities will be to implement project functionality translating design ideas concepts and requirements into a functional and engaging experience. A commitment to collaborative problem solving sophisticated design and a quality product are essential.

• Software Development:
  • Work as part of a team using contemporary programming tools and languages to produce interactive multimedia training software and applications.
  • Participate in designing multimedia software applications and produce program code for those designs.
  • Design build and maintain efficient reusable and reliable code.
  • Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Work with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of all materials.
  • Stay current with the latest software development trends techniques and software.
• Documentation and records:
  • Track and record hours worked on each project
  • Maintain other documentation as necessary for duties and responsibilities outlined above.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

• Bachelor degree in computer science information technology or related field; or an Associate degree and three years of directly related work experience.
• A portfolio of work must be provided at or before an interview.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

• Visual design skills and experience including 2D/3D illustration/modeling & animation.
• Virtual/augmented/mixed reality development experience.
