Software Dev Engineer, UTR Delivery Operations

Amazon Last Mile Contract Injection team part of UTR - Delivery Operations manages the entire lifecycle of millions of packages fulfilled and delivered through Amazons global logistics network daily across all marketplaces worldwide and every mode of delivery including forward and reverse transportation models and specialty drone and robotic deliveries. Our team builds the intelligent systems that inform Routing Planning and On-road operations about the state and delivery details of these packages and services.

Youll work on distributed systems problems at Amazon scale high throughput strong consistency requirements and downstream consumers that depend on the accuracy of what we produce. Were also developing next-generation automation powered by agentic AI systems that reason about delivery state and act on it in real time.

As a key member of our engineering team youll tackle complex engineering challenges build new services and shape how delivery works at Amazon. Join us in building the coordination and management systems that power global last-mile logistics.


Key job responsibilities



- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
