About the Role

Hello School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring School Social Workers to support students in an elementary school near Golden this role youll provide individual and group social-emotional support collaborate with school teams and families and help students navigate academic behavioral and social challenges. Youll work closely with educators and other specialists while receiving support from a therapist-owned and operated company.

What Youll Do

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development

• Support crisis intervention de-escalation and safety planning as needed

• Participate in IEP MTSS and student support team meetings

• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs

• Collaborate with teachers families and related service providers

• Support attendance engagement and wraparound services for students and families

• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans

• Maintain timely accurate and compliant documentation

• Connect families to community resources and supports
  

What Were Looking For

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Social Worker license/credential

• Masters degree in Social Work or a related field

• Strong communication collaboration and interpersonal skills

• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred

• Experience supporting students with diverse academic behavioral or social-emotional needs preferred
