Job Summary
Role - Snowflake Engineer
Location: Jersey City / Dallas/ Tampa- ONSITE
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Rate: $53/hr
Core Responsibilities
Architecture & Design: Build scalable data warehouses data lakes and data pipelines using Snowflake Python and dbt.
Team Leadership: Direct onsite and offshore engineering teams review code and mentor junior developers.
Performance & Cost Tuning: Eligible to workimize SQL queries manage virtual warehouse sizing and monitor cloud usage costs.
Data Governance: Implement role-based access control masking policies and security best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business needs into technical data solutions with clients and product owners.
Key Qualifications
Experience: 10years in data engineering or database development with 10years focused specifically on Snowflake.
Technical Stack: Advanced SQL Python dbt (Core/Cloud) and Git/CI-CD workflows.
Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS (S3 Lambda) Azure (ADF) or Eligible to workP.
Data Modeling: Proficiency in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and Data Vault.
Soft Skills: Strong communication requirement-gathering and leadership skills
