Job Summary

Slitter Operator / 3rd Shift

Souderton PA


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate slitting equipment
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks on slit material
  • Identify splice out and remove non-conforming material
  • Complete production quality and shipping paperwork accurately
  • Prepare slit rolls for shipment in accordance with customer and quality requirements
  • Access and use email intranet and quality databases as part of daily work
  • follow all safety quality and plant policies and report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training activities
  • Work overtime as needed to meet business demands





Requirements

  • Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred training provided
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow standard work procedures and make sound decisions
  • Basic computer skills including email and data entry
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn adapt and support process improvements
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a high-paced production environment
