Perform visual inspections and quality checks on slit material
Identify splice out and remove non-conforming material
Complete production quality and shipping paperwork accurately
Prepare slit rolls for shipment in accordance with customer and quality requirements
Access and use email intranet and quality databases as part of daily work
follow all safety quality and plant policies and report unsafe conditions immediately
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training activities
Work overtime as needed to meet business demands
Requirements
Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred training provided
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow standard work procedures and make sound decisions
Basic computer skills including email and data entry
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to learn adapt and support process improvements
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a high-paced production environment
