This position helps residents by supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs; providing comfort transportation and vital sign monitoring.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered personal care including bathing toileting grooming dressing and undressing.
Measure and record vital signs accurately.
Offer psychosocial support to residents promoting emotional and mental well-being.
Assist residents with meals snacks hydration and dietary supplements.
Ensure a positive and respectful dining experience.
Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers repositioning walking and range of motion exercises.
Document care and resident behavior in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
Handle soiled linens and personal items properly maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Consistently follow handwashing procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Adhere to all relevant laws regulations and organizational compliance requirements.
Remain flexible and adaptable to changing duties and responsibilities as needed.

Successful completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program approved by the state and facility.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Must hold active certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment.
Must meet ongoing training and in-service requirements as mandated by state and facility policies.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to comprehend instructions and effectively carry out assigned tasks.
Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation.
Capable of participating in training meetings and continuing education as required.

Ability to accurately measure and understand basic quantities (e.g. weight intake/output vital signs).
Familiarity with standard healthcare procedures and patient care protocols.

Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting bending standing and assisting patients.
Requires the ability to operate inspect and position medical tools and equipment.
Frequent need to observe assess and respond to patient needs.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both orally and in writing.
