Skilled Nursing Admissions Coordinator

Choosing a nursing home or rehab stay is one of the hardest calls a family makes. As our Admissions Coordinator youll answer their questions show them around and make move-in day go smoothly. Lutheran Home is a 354-bed not-for-profit community that has served Arlington Heights since 1892. Our rehab wing has private rooms and a therapy gym open seven days a week so youll have something worth showing.

What youll do

• Answer calls and emails from families hospitals and referral partners and follow up on every lead
• Give tours of our rehab wing and skilled nursing community
• Walk families through admissions paperwork and plan each move-in
• Coordinate short-term rehab and long-term care admissions with nursing and other departments
• Track referrals tours and admissions in our CRM
• Build relationships with hospital case managers social workers and doctors
• Work with the Sales Director and admissions team to meet occupancy goals

What youll need

Required:

• At least 1 year of experience in skilled nursing or rehab admissions experience
• Experience with a CRM system
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Preferred:

• Experience working with people from many cultures and backgrounds

Schedule
Full-time some weekends as needed on-site at our Arlington Heights campus.
