Skilled Laborer- Heavy Civil Construction

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Implement and maintain erosion and sediment control measures on construction sites that are prone to erosion.
• Clean and prepare sites jackhammer possibly dig trenches support the of excavations clean up rubble debris and waste materials.
• Signals equipment operators to facilitate alignment movement or adjustment of machinery equipment or materials
• Load unload machinery or tools and materials distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specifications.
• Assist other craft workers
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Help flagging truck movements at sites

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant must be able to pass a drug test.
• The position location is inNorfolk Virginia
• Three years of heavy construction laborer experience required
• Must demonstrate attention to detail
• Must be able to work well in a team environment
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be knowledgeable of safety procedures and practices
