Job summary: Our client in Maple Shade NJ is seeking 2 Skilled Tool Markers to support the repair maintenance and troubleshooting of stamping dies used in production. This is a Temp to Hire role offering between $38-$40/hr based on experience. The schedule for this role is 6AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday overtime is available on Saturdays.

The ideal candidate will have strong manual machining experience surface grinding expertise and the ability to work with close tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain stamping dies and tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and non-conforming parts.
• Fabricate replacement die components as needed.
• Inspect tooling for wear and damage.
• Maintain maintenance and repair records.
• Operate surface grinders manual mills lathes and other machining equipment.
• Read blueprints and work to close tolerances.
• Use precision measuring tools including micrometers calipers and dial indicators.
• Operate a forklift or pallet jack as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have 3-5 years of surface grinding experience
• 3-5 years of manual machining experience (mills lathes grinders etc.)
• Experience with ID and OD machining
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T preferred.
• Tool & Die Maker experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 4050 lbs consistently.
• Ability to stand and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift.
