The ASE Storage team is seeking a strong engineering leader to manage SRE teams focused on providing foundational block storage to various compute platforms working closely with peer SRE teams and development partners.
Build and optimize the Storage stack from the bare metal to the top of the design provisioning systems code deployment monitoring alerting and performance with the team youll help run the storage used by some of Apples largest teams.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.n10 years of Management experience nProven experience in a leadership role within a Storage Software Engineering or SRE team specifically focused on distributed background in distributed systems u0026 Block knowledge of SRE principles including monitoring alerting error budgets fault analysis and other common reliability engineering conceptsnCollaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement robust and scalable storage to lead teams spread across geographic regions.
Experience with Kubernetes Virtualization and containerizationnProficient in at least one of these programming languages: Golang Java or RustnFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform Ansible).nKnowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in storage of data durability consistency models and storage performance optimization techniques.
