Site HSE Manager

Are you passionate about health safety and the environment Were seeking an experienced professional to lead our HSE initiatives at our state-of-the-art facility in beautiful Durham NC. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our expanding operations and make a significant impact on our Large Molecule drug substance production.

• Develop and implement robust HSE programs and controls.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
• Lead occupational safety programs across the Durham campus.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate HSE initiatives.
• Oversee HSE training programs and safety committees.
• Conduct thorough HSE risk assessments and inspections.
• Serve as a senior-level technical lead for complex HSE investigations.
• Manage cross-functional Emergency Response Programs and Site Safety Committees.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering Biology or related field.
• 8 years of HSE program development/management experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

• Professional HSE certifications (e.g. CSP CIH or equivalent).
• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Prior experience with the design and startup of new facilities.
