Position Overview

GreenLight Fund seeks a thoughtful analytical Site Associate to support research selection portfolio management and community engagement efforts. This role will conduct analysis contribute to due diligence support stakeholder engagement and help track portfolio performance and reporting. The Site Associate reports directly to the Executive Director of GreenLight Fund Nashville and will work collaboratively across the GreenLight network.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Research Selection & Community Engagement

• Research existing local social issues and priorities affecting underserved children youth and families.
• Conduct local landscape analysis including qualitative and quantitative research and stakeholder meetings.
• Perform due diligence on prospective portfolio organizations including impact and financial assessments.
• Record synthesize and produce reports and briefs based on analysis and key findings to inform Executive Director and stakeholder decision-making.
• In partnership with the Executive Director support community engagement by holding conversations with local stakeholders to ensure alignment with the sites strategic priorities and community context.

Portfolio Management & Program Support

• Support portfolio management including:
  • Tracking performance progress toward outcomes and emerging opportunities or risks.
  • Collecting and analyzing program data for reporting.
  • Coordinating with portfolio organizations to ensure milestones are met.
  • Preparing materials to inform program decisions advisory input and site leadership.
• Prepare materials for selection advisory meetings including agendas briefs and research findings.
• Identify best practices across the GreenLight network and implement locally.
• Ensure portfolio activities are accurately documented in reporting systems.

Workflow Management & Logistics

• Maintain internal management data and reporting systems.
• Coordinate site workflow ensuring milestones and deadlines are tracked and completed.
• Identify workflow gaps and suggest improvements.
• Support implementation of new tools processes and initiatives.

Development & Investor Relations

• Maintain investor database.
• Write grant proposals requests reports and end of year asks/payment reminders.
• Support execution of investor relations and stewardship activities.

Communications & Events

• Maintain social media website content newsletters and blog postings in coordination with the Executive Director.
• Support planning and execution of launch events and other site-related events.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Demonstrable engagement in the local community.

Location Requirements

This position is based in GreenLight Fund Nashville. Applicants who do not meet location requirements will not be considered.

Travel Requirements

Approximately 510% travel is required for site visits and program support. Travel is typically scheduled in advance and may be concentrated during certain periods including occasional consecutive travel weeks.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $69860-$72860.
