Under the direction of the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing all inbound and outbound shipments as well as the receipt of components in alignment with established practices and procedures. This role ensures inventory accuracy shipment timeliness and compliance with company policies and customer offer market competitive compensation. The potential compensation range for this role is $20/hr. to $25/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by youll do: Follows all FDA and ISO 134985 specifications & remains current with required training/certificationsFollows all personal and manufacturing Good Manufacturing Practices as defined by Viant practicesPrepare and process inbound/outbound shipments using ERP systemVerify order accuracy packaging integrity and proper labelingInsures incoming and outgoing product and inventory are correctly shipped and entered in the ERP system for production planning accuracy and traceability purposesOperate Forklift or other material handling equipment to load and unload materials safelyAssure all materials components and products are shipped on time to meet customer requirementsInspect shipments and communicate discrepancies regarding quantities damage or incorrect itemsPrepares proper documentation for US and international shipments as requiredResponsible for the receipt of goods return to vendors and flow of material throughout incoming processMaintains 5s principles in all work areas of shipping and receivingCollaborates with production purchasing customer service and quality teamsFlexible schedule will be required to meet business needs some overtime weekend and on call hours may be requiredPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Knowledge/Education:High school diploma or equivalentJob Experience:Minimum of 1 year of relevant work shipping receiving overall warehouse experience within manufacturing environmentSkills/CompetenciesKnowledge of shipping & receiving product flow digital scales ERP system and cycle written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well independently and with fellow team membersAttention to detail and organization skillsComputer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft OfficeExcellent vision and hand-eye coordinationExtended periods of bending lifting walking and standingSignificant use of handsFrequently required to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally up to 50 lbs. with team liftWarehouse environment with exposure to machinery noise and varying temperaturesUse of PPE per departmental standardsPhysical RequirementsWorking on the production floor of either sitting walking and standingViant provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race color religion gender sexual orientation national origin age disability marital status amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal state and local laws.
