The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for the scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse. This includes coordinating details with carriers to schedule trucks and filling out proper documentation such as the Bill of Landing and other paperwork required for the transferring of the product. The Shipping Clerk must ensure that the COAs are there verifying inventory transaction and creating tickets for purchase addition this position will also be in charge of answering the phones in a professional manner and data input.
- Ensures COAs verify the transferring of the product
- Completes bills of lading and paperwork required for transferring product
- Creates tickets for new purchased product
- Enters data into spreadsheets
- Answers phones and assists with incoming and outgoing shipping questions
- Work alongside Shipping Coordinator and Warehouse Leads
- Performs other duties as assigned
| High school diploma or general education degree (GED) |
- 3 years related experience and/or training
- Preferred two years plus related experience in warehousing / clerical
- Good knowledge of Computer Systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills
