Shipping Assistant

Join a stable and growing manufacturing company with over 40 years of success supplying industrial fasteners and threaded products to customers throughout the region. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Assistant to support daily warehouse shipping and receiving operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pack and ship customer orders to meet delivery schedules
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
• Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify packing slips
• Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean organized and safe
• Follow all company safety environmental and operational procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 years of warehouse shipping receiving or inventory experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
• Self-motivated with good communication and time management skills
