Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Shift: Morning (6:00 AM-2:30PM)

Works closely with the Production Manager to support all facilities shipping and receiving activities.

• Responsible for assigning tasks per facilities task sheet and ensuring all tasks are complete daily Trains facilities shipping and receiving employees
• Coordinates and ensures all shipping and receiving working direction and support systems are completed daily
• Schedules preventive maintenance activity detail sheet to ensure completion by due date. This will include assigning personnel for weekend coverage
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining all shipping supplies Other duties as assigned

• General knowledge of warehouse procedures Some physical effort required in lifting
• Valid permit for operation of forklift
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Build strong internal and external relationships using effective verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently without regular direct supervision
• Must be a provider of excellent customer service
