Shipper II 1st shift M-F 7am-230pm

The Shipping Clerk II works under close supervision of the Shipping Supervisor to prepare packages for shipment by packaging boxes and staging pallets according to the daily shipping schedule and delivery specifications and assisting with loading and unloading trucks as and stage pallets in the shipping dock by operating a Pallet Jack or by hand based on daily shipping schedule truck weight limits and packages for shipping by taping or stapling boxes shut and affixing completed address air pillows at the shipping line by entering quantity and size needed in the Air Pillow Machine and placing them in packages that are flagged as not meeting the specified weight requirements on the shipping conveyor line and make necessary adjustments or escalate issues to the Shipping ready-to-ship pallets by operating the shrink wrap machine to ensure the product on the pallet does not shift during transport before it is loaded on the truck for products for delivery by operating RF Scanner to scan bar code of packages and enter delivery specialized boxes for custom orders using a Staple any order discrepancies and damages to inform Shipping load product on trucks by operating a Forklift or Pallet daily safety inspections of material handling all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to Six Sigma lean manufacturing standards to keep work area clean and safe from other duties as year of relevant work experience required. High School Diploma/GED and experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred. Must be able to read write speak and understand basic English. Must possess knowledge in updating data and navigating through warehouse management systems. Experience with IMI Series (AS400) and Boss is be able to operate a Class II Order Picker and Class II Stand-Up Forklift Pallet Jack Label Printing System RF Scanner and Staple Gun. Ability to demonstrate basic math skills (addition subtraction multiplication and division). Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to work independently and with others. Ability to meet established deadlines. Ability to demonstrate strong attention to Demand RequirementsRegularly required to stand walk bend and lift; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; The employee is occasionally required to sit reach above shoulders climb stairs; balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
