Sheet Metal Production Mechanic II

DPP is seeking a Sheet Metal Production Mechanic II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.

Work location: Onsite in Lake Charles LA
Duration: 12 months
Shift: Must be able to work Mon-Thurs 6:00AM-4:42PM or Mon-Thurs 4:00PM-2:42AM
Work authorization: US Citizen

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate assemble install and repair production sheet metal products and equipment such as control boxes drainpipes ventilators and furnace casings in accordance with blueprints drawings and specifications.
• Make sheet metal layouts set up and operate fabricating machinery shape metal over anvils blocks or forms and inspect assemblies and installations for conformance to specifications.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

• Have the ability to make sheet metal layouts set up and operate fabricating machinery shape metal over anvils blocks or forms
• Fiberglass experience
