Sheet Metal Fabricator

PPS is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician / Programmer for an established manufacturing partner in Solon Ohio! This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual with fabrication experience looking to grow their skills in a modern manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate laser cutting and press brake equipment.
• Program and nest sheet metal components for production.
• Operate deburring and PEM insertion equipment.
• Perform tapping deburring and finishing operations.
• Read blueprints and inspect parts to ensure quality.
• Load/unload equipment and move materials throughout the facility.
• Assist with machine setups tooling changes and production improvements.

Requirements:

• 1 year of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with forklifts hand tools and pneumatic tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Laser cutting press brake or CNC programming experience a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
