Koniag Government Services is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to join a dynamic development team supporting both established projects and building solutions from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player passionate about technology and committed to lifelong learning possessing the ability to apply their technical knowledge skills and experience to solve complex real-world problems. The ability to obtain or maintain an active Secret clearance is required to support our government customer. The SharePoint Developer will design develop and maintain SharePoint-based solutions to meet business and technical requirements. The SharePoint Developer will work closely with system and business analysts project managers and end users to deliver high-quality scalable and maintainable SharePoint applications and integrations. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Design develop and deploy SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint On-Premises solutions in alignment with business requirements and organizational and customize SharePoint sites pages web parts and application components using modern development frameworks and best custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) PowerShell Power Automate and other relevant SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services including Teams OneDrive Power Apps and Power with cross-functional technical teams to reconcile new business requirements with legacy system within an Agile software development environment while satisfying project stage gates and delivery day-to-day administration and maintenance of SharePoint development and test daily with system and business analysts to clarify and refine guidance from a lead architect on design and implementation tasks and incorporate feedback on completed work including items requiring correction or to technical designs including detailed data flows information architecture and data unit testing system testing and debugging to ensure solution quality and and maintain technical documentation describing solutions configurations and end users by troubleshooting SharePoint issues inspecting system logs and delivering timely Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems or a related field from an accredited college or university.5 years of SharePoint development experience including SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint On-Premises experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and modern SharePoint development Secret clearance or higher (Top Secret preferred).Required Skills and Competencies:Exceptional communication skills in English both written and oral and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical IT to work in a team environment under the direction of a technical in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development including custom web parts and developing with React TypeScript and JavaScript within the SharePoint in Microsoft 365 suite integration including Teams OneDrive Power Apps and Power designing and managing SharePoint site collections content types lists libraries and to develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for SharePoint administration and automation with SharePoint REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API for data access and of SharePoint governance security and compliance best with source control tools such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for SharePoint solution to conduct unit and system testing debugging and quality assurance with Agile Development Methodology especially towards coding best practices and documentation Skills and Competencies:Experience working in a federal government IT Certified: SharePoint Developer Associate or equivalent Microsoft with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using SAML and of Power BI for data visualization and reporting within the SharePoint with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based infrastructure supporting SharePoint with SharePoint migration tools and processes including migrations from On-Premises to SharePoint of accessibility standards (Section 508 / WCAG) as they apply to SharePoint Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
