Service Technician Windows Doors Siding

• Accurately measure residential windows and doors for replacement and installation.
  
  
• Perform service and repair work on windows including locks balances sashes screens glass hardware weatherstripping and other components.
  
  
• Diagnose and repair door issues including entry doors patio doors locks hardware alignment weatherstripping and operational problems.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and perform siding repairs including replacing damaged panels and addressing installation-related issues.
  
  
• Install replacement windows when needed.
  
  
• Perform window and door adjustments to ensure proper operation fit and sealing.
  
  
• Identify the cause of leaks drafts water infiltration and other installation or product-related concerns.

• Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding service issues and repairs.
  
  
• Take detailed photos and document all service work performed.
  
  
• Maintain an organized company vehicle tools parts and service materials.
  
  
• Follow company procedures and all applicable safety requirements.
  
  
• Work closely with the Service Production and Installation teams to resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
  
  

• Experience measuring replacement windows is required.
  
  
• Experience servicing and repairing residential windows and doors is required.
  
  
• Window installation experience is required.
  
  
• Working knowledge of vinyl siding installation and repair is required.
  
  
• Ability to accurately diagnose installation and product-related issues.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of proper window and door installation techniques flashing insulation caulking and weatherproofing.
  
  
• Ability to use hand tools power tools ladders and other installation/service equipment.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule.
  
  
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  
  
• Ability to safely lift and carry windows doors tools and materials.
  
  

• Several years of experience in window and door installation or service.
  
  
• Experience working for a window door siding or exterior remodeling company.

• General carpentry and exterior remodeling experience.
  
  
• Familiarity with multiple window and door manufacturers and product lines.
