Service Technician

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our team in Oakdale. Superior Plus Propane is a premier propane company with exceptional employees who look out for one anothers safety. Our diverse committed and talented team is driven by our Superior Way internal processes that ensure a great work hourly rate for this position is $35.00 - $40.00 per hour with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience CDL/Hazmat endorsements and technical expertise. Individuals with G1 S2 or other higher level licensing will be evaluated at a higher note the compensation information shown above is a general guideline only. You and your family will have access to LYRA an industry leading platform that provides comprehensive support and a myriad of resources to help support your physical mental financial and social : A continuous focus on professional development with many opportunities for training & career Focused:We care about you and have developed a 24/7 safety mindset that is showcased throughout every facet of the youll do: Propane service and tank to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment to customer emergencies as neededRotate on call status during evenings and weekends as neededPerform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in tank inspections and repairs at customer be cross trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as neededConsistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager CSC Manager Dispatcher Sales reps drivers and customers as necessaryWhat you bring:High School Diploma or General Education DegreeConnecticut G1 or G2 Gas Journeyman License OR Rhode Island PJF or PJ license with willingness to obtain a Connecticut license (G2 or G1) within required timelines2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVACCDL Class A or B requiredHazmat endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 weeks of hireLegal Authorization to work in the US is required.
