Service Foreman
Commercial Truck Dealership

Cumberland International Trucks is looking for a driven hands-on Service Foreman to lead our shop team and elevate both performance and customer satisfaction. If youre an experienced diesel professional who enjoys coaching others solving problems and delivering top-tier service this is your opportunity to step into a key leadership role.

Youll work with a wide range of medium- and heavy-duty trucks (Class 7 & 8) including top brands like Cummins Eaton International and Allison while serving as the bridge between our technicians and our customers.

What Youll Do
  • Lead mentor and develop diesel technicians to deliver efficient high-quality repairs
  • Recruit interview and onboard skilled technicians who follow OEM standards
  • Assign work manage workflow and ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time
  • Act as the link between customers and technicians ensuring clear communication and expectations
  • Drive shop performance by monitoring productivity efficiency and gross profit margins
  • Take ownership of the customer experiencefrom intake to final delivery
  • Ensure prompt professional and friendly service for every customer
  • Maintain strong relationships to support customer retention and repeat business
  • Ensure all work follows warranty guidelines and dealership standards
What You Bring
  • 3 years of experience in the medium/heavy-duty truck industry
  • Previous leadership supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines truck systems and repair processes
  • Familiarity with OEM guidelines and warranty procedures
  • Excellent communication skillsboth with customers and team members
  • Skilled at multitasking and staying organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to teamwork accountability and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE and/or OEM certifications
  • Previous dealership experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with International Truck systems and supplier warranty policies
  • Willingness to keep learning and growing through training and development
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Comfortable bending lifting reaching climbing and working around heavy equipment
  • Ability to work in varying shop conditions (heat cold humidity etc.)
