Position Summary

Serving our guests in a cheerful and helpful manner displaying and restocking product and assisting with preparation of deli items.A great personality good organizational skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently are requirements for this position.

Job Duties

• Helps to maintain a clean and safe environment to work and shop.
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors to build and maintain morale.
• Knowledge of company policies programs and procedures.
• Promote a harassment-free work and shopping environment and immediately reports any potential harmful situation.
• Continually strives to build knowledge and skills both personally and within the department.
• Proper product handling case cutting price marking rotation facing and display of merchandise.
• Follow through and achieve all company policies programs and directives.
• Is a team player and able to do the jobs/tasks asked by others.
• Maintain quality standards within the department and store.
• Assist guests to help improve their shopping experience.
• Completes tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Provides excellent guest service by acknowledging guests promptly and taking their orders accurately and in a friendly manner.
• Assists in the displaying and restocking of deli shelves are filled faced and cleaned.
• Maintains the highest standards in relation to stock rotation and product freshness
• Assists the department to maintain proper freshness pricing code dating tare and merchandising of products in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Helps maintain product and cost control in conjunction with company objectives to maximize department sales and profits and minimize losses.

Experience:

Minimum Age: 18 Years or older

Equipment use: Fryers Rotisserie Slicers Cash Register knives.

Physical Abilities: Regularly required to walk sit stand twist and bend; repetitive use of hands and arms to push pull carry lift reach grip and balance; occasionally stoop crouch kneel or of step stool and ladder. Lifting 60 pounds and may include floor to shoulder and overhead.

Communication: Ability to write speak hear and/or understand the spoken word in order to respond promptly to team members and guests to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance manuals.

Education: Food Handlers Permit required.
