Job Summary

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Service Assembler I at MKS Instruments you will partner with service to assemble RF products ensuring they meet the companys quality standards. In this role you will report to the Senior Manager Service.

This is a third shift position.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Assembly Tasks:Perform basic assembly of RF products including soldering wiring andcomponentinstallation following detailed work instructions and diagrams.
  • Quality Assurance:Conduct visual inspections of assembled products toidentifydefects or issues ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Documentation:Accurately record assembly processes and any issuesencounteredduringrepair.
  • Tool Maintenance:Maintainand clean assembly tools and workstations ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and address any assembly challenges.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 0 % of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:0 years of prior experience in electronic assembly.
  • Technical Skills:Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly techniques;proficiencyin using hand tools and soldering equipment.
  • Attention to Detail:Ability to follow detailed instructions andmaintainhigh-quality workmanship.
  • Communication Skills:Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with RF products or electronic assemblies.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $14.72 - 24.53 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position based on a wide range of factors including qualifications experience and training operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by MKS it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in an amount to be determined by MKS or as applicable.
