Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior VMware NSX-T Network Engineer
Location : Harrisburg PA
Type : Contract Hybrid (Once a week onsite)
Required / Desired Skills
* Strong experience administering VMware NSX-T in enterprise environments.
* Solid understanding of networking concepts including VLANs BGP OSPF VX
* Hands-on experience with vSphere ESXi vCenter and related VMware ecosystem technologies.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex networking and virtualization issues across multiple layers.
* Familiarity with network security best practices and micro segmentation design.
* Experience with automation/scripting using PowerShell/PowerCLI Python or REST APIs.
* VMware certifications such as VCP-NV VCAP-NV or equivalent hands on expertise
* Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (AWS Azure).
* Experience with monitoring tools (vRealize Network Insight Aria Operations SolarWinds Splunk etc.).
