Senior Technician Low Voltage Security Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the installation commissioning testing and programming of integrated electronic security systems
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot complex system issues-Install program service and maintainAccess control systems CCTV/IP video surveillance Intrusion detection systems Life safety systems Integrated security platforms
• Provide field leadership and mentor junior technicians
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service
• Coordinate field activities with project managers contractors and other trades
• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and technical documentation
• Maintain accurate project and service documentation
• Ensure work complies with company standards safety requirements and applicable codes
• Provide professional customer service and technical support

Field Requirements: This is a field-based position requiring travel to customer sites throughout the region. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications :

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience installing and servicing commercial electronic security systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Gallagher Software House Genea and/or Genetec experience is preferred but not required
• Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain security clearances as required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
