Position Overview
The Senior Technical Manager provides technical leadership delivery oversight and day-to-day coordination for a full stack development team. The Senior Technical Manager shall be responsible for the web-based and web-related components of application.
Core Responsibilities
- Technical Performance:
- The Senior Technical Manager shall have at a minimum 5 years of experience in the following:
- Managing web operations for a program or project similar to ATRRS in terms of size and complexity.
- Internet application development within a Microsoft web environment using the following: applications ASP (3.5 4.0 and later) Visual Basic SQL Server (2008 and later editions) Visual Studio 2010 IIS and current/other related applications.
- Analyzing isolating and resolving program malfunctions in a Web environment.
- Debugging programs and job streams being tested in various hardware/operating system environments.
- Software environments and hardware configurations.
- Using DB2 Connect and integrating with web-based applications.
- The design development and integration of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services within an enterprise architecture.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Software Engineering or related field (Masters degree preferred)
- Experience:
- 10 years in software engineering or web application development
- 5 years in a technical leadership or architectural role
- Technical Proficiency: applications ASP (3.5 4.0 and later) Visual Basic SQL Server (2008 and later editions) Visual Studio 2010 IIS and current/other related applications.
- Compliance:
- Secret Clearance
- Must meet Army requirements.
- Certifications: Security or higher
Preferred Expertise
- Demonstrated success in Army Contracting
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
