Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Tucson AZ
Duration: 12 - 15 Months (possible extension)
Job Description:
***This is an onsite position for a motivated hands-on Senior Systems Engineer who has experience with electro-mechanical devices.
Contract may be renewed into 2027 based on candidate performance and business need***
The work hours for this role are 9:00am-5:00pm but that is flexible and can be discussed with the RRP after the candidate is selected.
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
General responsibilities include design concept generation participating in design reviews development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing and assessment of system interactions.
Makes independent decisions.
Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Degree: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Chemical Biomedical or Software preferred)
Years of Experience: 8 yrs
Experience in a FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus; Medical device industry is ideal

- Test Method Development DoE data analysis (python coding capability)
- Digital outputs of a sensor and analyze the data
- Test bed development
- Troubleshooting skills
- Developing comprehensive testing plans.
- Executing hands-on testing protocols
- Authoring detailed technical reports.
- Managing the defect lifecycle (collection documentation and summarization for our development partner).
- Risk and requirement management
- technical writing (protocols reports etc.)
- demonstrated experience with complex systems
