Job Description:

L3Harris is undertaking one of the largest-scale Data/AI implementations in the defense contracting sector. This multi-year transformative program is building state-of-the-art AI applications on top of unified data. It is integrating 100 legacy systemsincluding enterprise resource planning (ERP) product lifecycle management (PLM) supply chain finance operations and specialized domain systems. The capabilities cover dozens of critical corporate use cases spanning program management finance operations supply chain engineering and strategic planning.

The L3Harris Transformation team is seeking a Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development testing and support of applications workflows and data pipelines within the Palantir Foundry platform. This role will work as part of an agile cross-functional team alongside architects business system analysts product owners and senior developers to implement secure scalable and maintainable solutions that support critical enterprise use cases.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the design development testing and maintenance of full stack applications workflows and supporting services within the Palantir Foundry platform.
  • Develop user-facing functionality backend logic and workflow features to support enterprise use cases across finance supply chain operations engineering and strategic planning.
  • Translate user stories and functional requirements into technical solutions with guidance from senior developers and architects.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of batch and near-real-time data pipelines integrating legacy enterprise systems into Foundry.
  • Implement data transformations validations and quality checks to support reliable and accurate data products.
  • Work with data architects and senior engineers to align development with ontology models governance standards and integration patterns.
  • Write clean maintainable and well-documented code following team standards for coding testing and review.
  • Participate in unit testing integration testing debugging and defect resolution across application and data components.
  • Contribute to frontend and backend enhancements including UI components APIs pipeline logic and workflow automation.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning backlog refinement daily standups demos and retrospectives.
  • Provide task status updates identify blockers and support delivery commitments for assigned work.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team development practices and tooling.
  • Work closely with product owners business analysts architects and peer developers to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with security infrastructure and operations teams to support compliant and reliable deployments.
  • Learn and apply enterprise architecture standards secure development practices and platform development guidelines.
  • Develop proficiency in Palantir Foundry development frameworks ontology-driven application development and enterprise data integration patterns.
  • Leverage modern development tools including AI-assisted engineering tools where appropriate to improve productivity and quality.
  • Continuously build technical knowledge in software engineering data engineering and platform-based application delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience developing software applications using modern programming languages such as Python Java TypeScript JavaScript or similar.
  • Experience with full stack software development including frontend development backend services APIs and data-driven applications.
  • Experience working with relational or non-relational databases data transformation logic and systems integration.
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices including version control code reviews unit testing debugging and CI/CD concepts.
  • Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry including pipelines Code Repositories Workshop Operational Applications or ontology-based development.
  • Experience building or supporting enterprise data pipelines ETL processes or application integrations across multiple systems.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Experience with backend/API development and scripting in Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms DevOps concepts containerization or infrastructure automation.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled workflows analytics applications or data products.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as defense aerospace manufacturing finance or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with secure software development practices and data governance concepts.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California Massachusetts New Jersey Washington and the Greater D.C Denver or NYC areas is $106500-$197500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $92500-$171500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
