Senior Special Hazards Technician

A national employee-owned fire and life safety organization is immediately hiring a Senior Hazards Technician to cover Charlotte North Carolina and surrounding areas.

Senior Hazards Technician will primarily do installation testing and maintenance of a variety of special hazards fire suppression systems including clean agent systems foam systems and kitchen fire suppression systems in commercial and industrial settings. The Senior Technician will lead technical projects and mentor junior technicians following regulatory requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• NICET II - Special Hazards Certification
• Associate Degree in Fire Protection Technology Engineering or related field
• Five (5) years installing special hazards fire protection systems
• Previous experience training other technicians
• Valid drivers license with a clean MVR
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e. Criminal Driving Drug)

SHIFT: Days 7:00 am 3:00 pm (Monday Friday)

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

• $35.00 - $45.00/hour
