As a Senior Voice Platform Software Engineer you will play a key role in architecting developing and operating scalable voice infrastructure and real-time communication services used in high-volume customer interaction environments. You will work on technologies related to SIP signaling media handling WebRTC distributed systems and cloud-native platform development. This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals deep technical expertise and the ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple teams. You will contribute to platform architecture scalability resiliency and operational excellence while mentoring engineers and influencing the technical direction of the platform

Lead the design and development of scalable voice and real-time communication platform componentsnDrive architecture and technical design discussions for SIP signaling media processing routing and session management servicesnDevelop high-performance backend services using C or CnTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to voice quality signaling media flows scalability and distributed systemsnCollaborate across platform infrastructure client and product engineering teams to deliver end-to-end communication solutionsnImprove platform scalability resiliency observability automation and operational efficiencynMentor engineers through technical guidance design reviews and code reviewsnContribute to long-term platform strategy reliability initiatives and production operational excellencenDrive testing deployment automation monitoring and incident response improvements for voice platform services

5 years of software development experience using C or CnExperience with real-time communication platforms such as FreeSWITCH Kamailio Asterisk or similar technologiesnStrong experience developing scalable backend or distributed systems softwarenStrong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP HTTP TLS load balancing and distributed system conceptsnExperience with SIP RTP and VoIP technologiesnExperience troubleshooting production systems and operating highly available services at scalenBachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Experience with WebRTC and modern real-time communication architecturesnFamiliarity with cloud-native architectures and container technologies such as Docker or KubernetesnExperience with scalable event-driven systems and distributed infrastructure technologies such as Kafka or RedisnExperience driving technical design discussions and mentoring engineers across teams
