Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Paradigm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our client a global leader in the legal services industry. This role will focus primarily on hands-on development of high-volume mission-critical web applications using C#/.NET MVC Web API AngularJS and SQL Server.
The Senior Software Engineer participates throughout the software development lifecycle contributes to technical design and architecture decisions and serves as a technical resource and mentor to other developers. This position will also collaborate closely with department leadership analysts and business teams to translate requirements into reliable scalable software solutions.
Type: 12-month contract

Assignment lengths are estimated based on the anticipated workload and scope of work. The assignment may be extended or may conclude earlier than anticipated based on business needs.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle using Agile/Scrum methodologies including requirements analysis software design prototyping development debugging testing and production support.
- Design develop debug test and deliver scalable enterprise web applications.
- Participate in technical design and implementation decisions.
- Identify and proactively raise concerns when requirements or specifications may negatively affect software quality system performance scalability or architecture.
- Collaborate with developers analysts business stakeholders and other cross-functional team members.
- Troubleshoot complex application and technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Take a self-directed proactive approach to problem-solving and software development.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor to other software engineers.
- Contribute technical expertise and best practices to improve application quality maintainability and performance.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years of professional software development experience using C#/.NET.
- 3 years of experience developing web applications using .
- Experience developing multi-tier applications or components for high-volume systems.
- Strong experience with SQL Server.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
- Strong troubleshooting analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience mentoring developers and/or providing technical leadership.
- Prior experience leading or supporting software development teams.
The following experience is highly desirable:
- MVC
- Web API
- Entity Framework
- AngularJS or a similar client-side JavaScript framework
- Load-balancing technologies
- Development of high-volume mission-critical enterprise applications
