Senior Software Engineer

Summary:The senior software engineer supports custom AIT software solutions for large scale automated aerospace assembly systems for both domestic and international customers. They actively participate throughout the entire project lifecycle - design procurement fabrication assembly integration commissioning and production support. The primary focus is on control system configuration and development including microprocessor-based servo motion control heating applications analog and digital sensors network communication and graphical user and Responsibilities: Works on projects throughout the full software development life cycle including specification design programming implementation integration commissioning and in a structured coding environment and participates on projects that involve both software and in Siemens Scripting / Siemens PLC programming (TIA-Step 7) or equivalent / WinCC Advanced / WinCC OA / WinCC in Allen Bradley Scripting / Allen Bradley Studio 5000 / FactoryTalk View network administration TCP/IP PROFINET and Ethernet/ in C/C/C# for program applications to run in a Windows a member on cross-functional teams with mechanical/electrical design project management and directly with the customer to troubleshoot and solve critical problems within the automation documents and communicates problems encountered troubleshooting steps taken corrective actions root cause and next information and interfaces with customers and and executes functional software test plan to validate project training to lead other team members by breaking down requirements into a WBS and delegating development tasks to other engineers and ensuring a uniform technical hours budget estimates for Sales and Business Development Department in estimating and conception of new projects/ other duties as and Work Experience:Bachelor of Science in Software Electrical Computer Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and 5 years of experience or 3 years of experience and a Masters or more years programming in C/C/C#; must be able to program applications to run in a Windows of 3 years experience programming in Siemens Scripting / Siemens PLC programming (TIA-Step 7) or equivalent / WinCC Advanced / WinCC OA / WinCC Flex or programming in Allen Bradley Scripting / Allen Bradley Studio 5000 / FactoryTalk View knowledge of network administration TCP/IP configuration PROFINET configuration Ethernet/IP knowledge of industrial automation hardware control system experience with electrical wiring reading schematics and troubleshooting electrical Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:Security clearance required or have the ability to obtain oneKnowledge Skills and Abilities:List of needed knowledge skills and abilities to successfully accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the troubleshooting and debugging skills.
