This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule which includes the ability to work from home while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis Missouri.

As an Senior Software Engineer youll be responsible fordesigning developing and enhancing a wide range of technology solutions that supportourorganizations strategic this position you willleverageadvanced engineering methodologies analytical skills and research techniques to drive innovation and deliver high-quality technology outcomes.As a subject matter expert across multiple technology domains you willprovide actionable recommendations fornew solutionsand serve as a trusted technical resource for both your team and stakeholders across the organization.Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating closely with engineering teamsandstakeholdersto design and optimizesystemsidentifyingopportunities to improve integrationand overall solution quality andmonitoringkey performance metrics to ensure adherence toestablishedstandards processes and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer needs todetermineand provide high-quality solutions that align with customer expectations
- Responsible for designingmodifying and developing complex code independently within or outside various teams using applicable technology
- Responsible for driving standards ensuring code performance contributing to code reviews and performing unit and integration testing
- Assistwith the analysis and review of software requirements and testing of code
- Use your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve business problems
- Serve as a subject matter expert in their focus area and represent their department on complex assignments
- Assess elements of technologys effectiveness through requirements gathering testing research and investigation
- Make recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness

Required:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must reside in St. Louis Missouri or immediate surrounding area
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- 3 years of Java related development experience
- 2 years of experience creating and implementing SQL
- Experience related to API including microservices event driven architecture REST principles
- Knowledge of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
- Experience with JIRA Confluence and/or similar tool
- Experience with source control management (Bitbucket/GIT experience preferred)
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Management Information Systems or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience with frameworks such as Spring Hibernate Struts
- Experience with middleware technologies like WebLogic and Tomcat
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with React JS
- Experience with Cloud Solutions
- Experience with technologies XSLT andXpath
- Experience with Workday
