Job Title

About your role:

In this role you will contribute to the development and support of the cloud-native Vision NEXT platform Fiservs next-generation cloud-native card issuing and payment processing platform built on microservices APIs and event-driven architecture leveraging APIs event-driven architectures AWS services and real-time authorization capabilities. You will serve as a technical resource for application development integration troubleshooting and client implementations while helping provide software solutions for our LATAM partners.

What youll do

• Design develop test and implement software applications supporting Fiservs Vision NEXT platform.
• Develop and support REST and event-driven integrations RabbitMQ webhooks applying retry and idempotency design patterns for reliable delivery.
• Develop and support integrations utilizing APIs microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Build and maintain API test automation using RestAssured Karate and Postman/Newman.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application connectivity and production support issues.
• Work closely with infrastructure network and security teams to ensure platform stability performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards security requirements and engineering best practices.
• Support cloud-native applications deployed within AWS environments.
• Monitor system performance and assist with root cause analysis for application and network-related issues.

Experience youll need to have:

• 6 years of experience in software development software engineering or related technology disciplines.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Java C# C C or similar object-oriented programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with REST and event-driven integrations RabbitMQ webhooks and retry/idempotency design patterns.
• 2 years of experience developing or supporting applications within AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Experience working with APIs microservices and distributed application architectures.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP DNS HTTP/HTTPS VPN connectivity firewalls load balancing and SSL/TLS.
• Experience troubleshooting application performance connectivity and integration issues in enterprise environments.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education professional experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience within financial services payments banking or fintech environments.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures event-driven systems APIs and real-time transaction processing platforms.
• Ability to write technical specifications a development team can build from.
• Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift including networking scaling and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with networking technologies including firewalls load balancers proxies and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Experience supporting applications in AWS environments.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
