Senior Software Development Engineer, Amazon Leo Developer Productivity, AI, Test and Simulation

Developer Productivity AI Test and Simulations team is responsible for developer experience builder operations CICD and Infrastructure services. We are looking for engineers with experience in designing backend services five 9 service availability and metrics with advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services infrastructure such as IAM Lambdas Cloud watch API gateways etc. Deep knowledge on leveraging Generative AI for productivity tooling is required. Proficiency in at least one of TypeScript/Python/GoLang is an added advantage.

The candidate would participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations. You will participate in the design integration and improvement of the software. This includes designing and implementing a wide range of software using AWS stack sometimes requiring partnership with low level embedded code software systems and architecting scalable design solutions for software distribution and deployment for satellites. You must be about to disambiguate high level of ambiguity and unknowns design flexible solutions and able to succeed within an open collaborative environment.

About the team

- 8 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 8 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 8 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
