Opportunity:
Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Senior Red hat C/Java Developer to support application development work on a platform running RHEL 8/10. This role is primarily focused on C development as the applications in scope live and interact directly with the RHEL platform with Java development as a secondary responsibility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior-level developer comfortable working close to the operating system layer and building applications tightly integrated with a Linux-based platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain applications primarily in C with supporting development work in Java
• Build and support applications that interact directly with the RHEL 8/10 platform
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level integration issues between applications and the underlying OS
• Collaborate with the broader development team on application architecture code reviews and testing
• Support ongoing maintenance debugging and enhancement of existing C/Java applications
