Senior Radar Engineer

OASYS INC. a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama is seeking a Senior Radar Engineer to support our customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal Huntsville AL.

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct detailed radar system evaluations troubleshoot customerreported issues through rootcause analysis streamline tactical radar algorithms for realtime implementation and prepare clear technical documentation for briefings to project leadership and end users.

Create and maintain analysis tools using MATLAB or Python and provide guidance to junior team members to ensure consistent methods and tool interoperability.

Work onsite daily at a government facility as part of a multicontractor team collaborating frequently with industry partners and government personnel.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated background in radar systems simulation and electronic warfare ideally within the defense industry.

Experience with compiled languages such as C or C and strong proficiency across core radar concepts including detection theory tracking waveform management and target classification.

Advanced analytical abilities including practical experience using MATLAB or Python.

Strong capability to interpret data and make informed analytical decisions.

Preferred Experience

Background in radar modeling and simulation.

Prior work involving radar systems simulations and electronic warfare within defensefocused environments.

Required Education: Candidates should possess a bachelors degree preferably in Engineering Cyber Computer Information Systems Computer Science Math Physics or other STEM discipline however years of experience may be substituted for a degree. 9 years of experience is desired for this role.

Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
