Senior Quality Engineer

Duties:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the quality assurance team ensuring adherence to company standards customer requirements and industry regulations; apply advanced technical knowledge of hydraulic motors and systems to evaluate product performance identify nonconformities and lead corrective actions; lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for recurring or high-impact quality issues; monitor and analyze production processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to ensure product reliability and reduce scrap rework and warranty claims; ensure proper application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in design and inspection activities; oversee and ensure proper use of specialized measurement and inspection devices such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) Vision Systems and metallurgical testing equipment; maintain accurate and complete quality documentation including inspection records test data and audit reports in compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards; train mentor and develop quality inspectors engineers and production personnel on quality standards SPC GD&T inspection techniques and hydraulic-specific processes; promote a culture of accountability safety and continuous improvement within the quality department.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering (Technology)
• 5 years experienceas a Quality Engineer in Hydraulics environments
• 3 years experiencewith inspection and testing equipment
• 3 years experiencereading engineering drawings specifications (GD&T) process control plans PFMEAs routers job instructions standardized work and basic statistical methods
• 3 years experiencewith AIAG Core Tools (PPAP APQP MSA SPC and FMEA)
