Job Summary

ProSidian seeks a Senior Quality Control Engineer II Quality Control (QC) for Program Support on a Exempt Basis for Working On-Site (Client Site) in The Southeast South Atlantic CONUS Area (Aiken South Carolina) Contract Contingent generally located across the Aiken South Carolina Across The Southeast South Atlantic CONUS Region supporting a High-hazard nuclear cleanup environment requiring disciplined staffing safety quality security and regulatory compliance.

With STD Work/Job Site (Office) Language(s) being English; the Senior Quality Control Engineer II Quality Control (QC) L00344 is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Engineer / Scientist IV.  This role shall be principally focused on ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Quality Control (QC) Solutions and Services Quality Control (QC) for ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Quality Control (QC) Solutions and Services

We seek Senior Quality Control Engineer II candidates with relevant Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Clients such as SRMC. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Quality Control (QC) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Quality Control (QC) Solutions and Services Position; however ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Senior Quality Control Engineer II ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Quality Control (QC) Solutions and Services aligned with the Quality Control (QC) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Industry Sector. 

This role focusses on Human Capital Project Management Engineering Environmental Compliance Risk Management IT Effectiveness Business Process Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion LLC (SRMC) SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program under DOE prime contractDEM000068 Generally Located In Aiken South Carolina and across the Southeast South Atlantic CONUS Region (Of Country/World) Working On-Site (Client Site).

Provide Quality Control (QC) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member working in a capacity that Supports quality control activities through planning analysis coordination documentation compliance quality assurance and stakeholder support..  Verify construction quality at the point of execution through disciplined inspection surveillance documentation and issue resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Senior Quality Control Engineer II Quality Control (QC) L00344

Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training obey safety rules and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.

  •  Directs personnel to implement quality requirements and to accurately status the results.
  •  Reviews design output documents in accordance with approved procedures to establish inspection requirements in quality assurance procedures construction plans and/or work packages.
  •  Coordinates with internal and external sources to resolve quality issues and provides status of the inspection/test activities to stakeholders for the work activity.
  •  Reviews technical criteria personnel qualifications and work sequence on work packages including the notation of hold points prior to performance of inspections.
  •  Directs the quality inspection activities of subordinate QC Engineers and other inspection personnel as assigned.
  •  Performs or leads the performance of inspection witness test and/or surveillance and documents the results of the inspection activities.
  •  Assists in resolution of complex codes specifications and drawing interpretations. Leads the performance of inspection witness test and surveillance of the inspection activities and ensures the results are documented.
  •  Assesses the completeness of quality related activities and verification documentation prior to preparation of quality control releases for turnover.
  •  Reviews suppliers or subcontractors quality program for compliance to established procedures attends mobilization meetings and monitors their activities for proper implementation.
  •  Reviews suppliers and/or subcontractors quality verification documentation for traceability and specification compliance.
  •  Reviews assesses and statuses subcontractors costs manpower and materials.
  •  Approves suppliers and/or subcontract invoices and application for payment prior to submission to procurement.

Qualifications :

Desired Qualifications For Senior Quality Control Engineer II Quality Control (QC) L00344 Candidates:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (engineering or science) and 6 years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance Quality Control or Engineering in the fields of operations maintenance construction or industrial manufacturing. 

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

  • - Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (engineering or science) and 6 years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance Quality Control or Engineering in the fields of operations maintenance construction or industrial manufacturing. OR;
  •  Bachelors degree in a non-technical discipline and 7 years relevant work experience as described above OR;
  •  Associates degree and 8 years of relevant experience described above OR;
  •  High School diploma or GED and 10 years of relevant experience described above.
  •  US Citizen

Note: A two-year technical diploma will be considered equivalent to an associates degree.

  • Certification with continuing technical training is required for performance of inspections and surveillance activities. Specialized training may also be required to support certain technical areas
  •  Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (engineering or science) and 6 years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance Quality Control or Engineering in the fields of operations maintenance construction or industrial manufacturing. OR;
  •
