Job Summary
Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Senior Roadway Project Manager in our Transportation business unit in Salt Lake City UT. This position requires 10 years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Interact and communicate with clients vendors and staff of all levels
- Ability to lead manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
- Track multiple projects simultaneously to keep jobs on schedule and under budget
- Lead planning design and delivery of roadway and highway improvement projects.
- Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations
- Prepare and write engineering and other reports
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships
- Develop business in the Utah region
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working directly with the Utah Department of Transportation and local municipalities
- Existing business development relationships
- Licensed professional engineer in Utah preferred
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook Excel Word)
- Experience using at least one CADD platform (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of at least one highway design package (OpenRoads Geopak or Civil3D)
- Critical thinking and analysis
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must complete a background check

B.S. in Civil Engineering
SALARY RANGE:

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidates particular combination of knowledge skills competencies experience and geographic location.
