The Opportunity

As theSeniorProject Manager/Estimatorthis individual willbe responsible forcoordinating submittals equipmentselectionpricingand ship dates for each ideal candidate has advanced skills knowledge and understanding of assigned Texas AirSystems manufacturer product lines and systems and will serve as a mentor to team members on best bedetailand customer service oriented and have excellent organizational requiresa high levelof oral and written correspondence with the Sales TeamCustomersand Manufacturers to ensuretimelycompletion of assigned projects whilemaintainingcustomer be able to work well with others in a fast-paced& high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Create andmaintainjob files for eachprojectthroughoutits duration

• Optimizetheprojectthrough the stages of product selection specifications plans estimates proposals valueengineeringand redesigns

• Managemultiple projects on an ongoing basis

• Communicatewith owners architects MEP Consultants and General Mechanical and Electrical Contractors

• Organizeproject related data for order entry

• Respond to and trackIOM & Submittal requests

• Readunderstandand interpret building plans & specifications

• Develop andgrowrelationships with customers contractors projectengineersand manufacturers

• Determineproject requirements constraints andsales teamresponsibilities to meetall ofthe customers system designinstallationand maintenanceexpectations

• Investigateconcerns implementcorrectiveactionand communicatewith customers and co-workers as necessaryto maximize customer satisfaction

• Serve as a mentor for team members on best practices and train new team members

The Required Profile

• Bachelors degree inengineering or related fieldand typically7-10yearsofexperienceas a Project Managerin the HVAC estimating engineering construction management or contracting environment; or7-10 yearsequivalent combination of education and experience

• Working knowledge of MEP consulting architecture design CAD general contracting mechanical contractingengineeringor construction industry a plus

• Advanced skills knowledge and understanding with selecting and delivering applied products including pricingorderingand tracking products; advanced understanding of assigned Texas AirSystems manufacturer product lines and systems

• Ability to prioritize multi-task deal with ambiguity and manage high volume projects

• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employeeis regularly required touse hands tooperatecomputer keyboard and telephone reach with hands and arms. The employeefrequentlyis required tostand walk and sit. The employeeis occasionally required toclimb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
