Compensation: $140000$160000 base bonus

About the Role

Were looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join a rapidly growing residential development company in Austin. While the projects are residential this role is best suited for someone with a strong commercial background who brings a disciplined approach to budgets scheduling cost control and project management. This is a fast-paced vertically integrated operation with its own design development procurement and warehousing capabilities.

This person will take ownership of the business side of the projects working closely with the ownership team and field operations to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.

What Youll Do

  • Manage budgets and job costs across a large portfolio of active projects
  • Review committed costs invoices and monthly budget reconciliations
  • Prepare accurate cost-to-complete and financial projections
  • Establish and maintain CPM schedules across multiple projects
  • Monitor project progress and provide clear visibility into budget and schedule performance
  • Review and validate budgets for new projects before construction begins
  • Support procurement and purchasing decisions
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve project performance
  • Work closely with field leadership accounting purchasing design and ownership
  • Conduct job site visits and stay connected to project execution
  • Help implement and improve project management systems and processes
  • Build scalable processes as the company continues to grow

What Were Looking For

  • 10 years of construction/project management experience
  • Strong commercial multifamily or similar ground-up construction experience
  • Strong understanding of budgets job costing scheduling and financial reporting
  • Experience with cost-to-complete forecasting and committed-cost tracking
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly
  • Someone who is hands-on and willing to dig into the details
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Austin-based and able to work full-time in the Austin market
