Senior Program Manager

Title:

This program provides critical operations maintenance and mission support services for a large-scale government services contract. The program supports a diverse workforce and customer base while ensuring operational readiness service excellence and contractual compliance across multiple functional areas.

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing complex projects and operations with a focus on operational efficiency resource management financial performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive leader with exceptional communication strategic planning and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

The Senior Program Manager plays a key role in ensuring program objectives align with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with contractual regulatory and operational requirements. This position involves direct engagement with clients stakeholders and internal teams to drive successful outcomes within government and defense contracting environments.

Under general direction and oversight by KBR Leadership the Senior Program Manager (SPM) is responsible for the daily management and execution of a large complex government services contract. The SPM serves as the primary point of contact for program operations and has authority to act on behalf of KBR on matters relating to contract execution workforce management financial oversight and operational performance.

The SPM is responsible for:

• Leading program execution to ensure achievement of contract requirements and performance objectives.
• Managing both unionized and non-unionized workforces as applicable.
• Providing financial oversight and ensuring responsible stewardship of program resources.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships and serving as the primary interface between KBR client representatives and other key stakeholders.
• Managing and coordinating multiple functional support areas which may include: Program and Site Management Civil Engineering Facilities and Infrastructure Support Logistics Operations Safety Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene Administrative Services Medical Maintenance Operations Emergency Services Other mission support functions
• Adapting program resources and operational approaches to meet evolving mission requirements.
• Monitoring contract performance and ensuring all requirements deliverables and quality standards are met.
• Supporting business growth initiatives through proposal development requests for information and strategic planning activities.
• Conducting performance reviews self-assessments and operational evaluations to support customer reporting requirements and continuous improvement efforts.
• Identifying opportunities for operational enhancements efficiencies and program growth.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable company policies government regulations and contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with demonstrated experience successfully managing large complex programs and delivering exceptional customer service in mission-critical environments.

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of Program or Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience directing and managing a large workforce including unionized environments where applicable.
• Experience with financial management budgeting and resource planning.
• Knowledge of government property and material control practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

• Familiarity with KBR policies procedures systems and business processes.
• Experience managing large government service contracts.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-functional teams in complex operational environments.
• Experience identifying and developing strategic growth opportunities.
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
• Experience managing annual program budgets exceeding $100M is preferred.
