The Opportunity:

As the Program Manager you will have direct influence on how company resources are allocated and have accountability for managing costs and revenue to meet budget targets for the RAM program. Duties include all areas of project management from initiation through closeout to ensure the successful execution of the projects mission goals and objectives. This position has direct customer interaction and leads the execution of program goals and objectives. Youll learn the customers vision and contribute to technology roadmaps that align customer requirements with industry advancements and next generation capabilities. This is a fast-paced work environment that directly supports a high impact mission for the RAM Program.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day execution and collaborate across the RAM leadership team to execute objectives.
• Lead a large team of talented professionals to develop our customers mission critical systems to achieve better business results.
• Participate in roadmap discussions and incorporate industry experience into solutions and proposed improvements.
• Lead program status meetings that include finance staffing invoicing and other program objectives.
• Partner with a Business Development Lead to identify opportunities and mitigate risk to create sustainable program growth.
• Coordinate closely with the Agile team to manage and improve team processes collaborating routinely with Chief Engineer Chief Architect and Release Engineer to ensure cohesive planning execution and delivery across the Agile software development.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Project management expertise for planning executing and completing large scale projects across multiple teams.
• People management skills needed to lead a diverse team of experts across both technical and non-technical roles.
• History of increasing roles and responsibilities that promote leadership and technical acumen.
• Financial management skills and an understanding of business drivers and revenue generators.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate plans and strategies to executive level positions.
• US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance

Desired:

• Experience in an Agile software development environment with participation in scrums program increment planning and backlog refinement
• University Degree (BA/BS) with at least 10 years of related work experience
• Experience managing and directing sub-contractors and/or vendors
• PMP Certification

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including but not limited to geographic location Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates relevant prior work experience specific skills and competencies education and certifications.
