Job Summary
Develop business plans aligned to broader organizational strategy across teams and business plans with cross-functional programs and technical resources for growth and delivery. Follow through to ensure all commitments are met and problems and lead great teams. Assemble the right people motivate them enable them with the right tools and supportntheir collaboration.
10 years of experience in business operations program management or general management including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role leading multi-disciplinary teams with a track record of balancing short-term delivery against building sustainable long-term experience directly managing and developing managers or team leads (not just individual contributors)including hiring performance management and career development experience operating in fast-changing ambiguous environments where you had to adapt strategy in real prioritizing and reallocating resources across competing initiatives under time pressure with specific examples of trade-off decisions youve made and their -on experience implementing and running operating cadences business metrics and review processes ( OKRs KPI dashboards) to track team performance against record of anticipating market or organizational shifts and proactively adjusting plans ahead of them rather than reacting after the conducting competitive and market analysis that directly informed strategic or investment decisions with specific with budget ownership and Pu0026L or investment analysis including building business cases that influenced funding or resourcing leading cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams or departments (e.g. engineering finance marketing) without direct authority over all contributors and successfully driving them to building and running forward planning processes (e.g. quarterly/annual planning roadmap reviews) for an organization or major building relationships and gathering input across a wide network of internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to inform decision-making.
Experience navigating cross-organizational dependencies at a large matrixed company with specific examples of how you identified and managed interdependencies to keep initiatives on adapting quickly to shifting or unique stakeholder requirements with specific examples of building influence and alignment across internal and external groups with competing mediating disputes or negotiations between stakeholders and driving resolution with minimal escalation including examples where you made a difficult call under distilling ambiguous multi-variable problems into clear recommendations for executive audiences e.g. through structured frameworks or executive revisiting or reversing a prior decision based on new data or analysis even after significant time/resources had been invested and owning the outcome with building a team from the ground up or significantly scaling an existing team including recruiting onboarding and mentoring identifying and resourcing gaps on a team or project proactively before they became blockers with specific conducting user or stakeholder research (e.g. interviews surveys feedback sessions) to directly inform product program or business record of exceeding measurable goals or targets in a prior role with specific metrics where written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to and aligning senior stakeholders or executives on complex or ambiguous prioritizing effectively under competing deadlines and ambiguity with examples of seeing an initiative through despite setbacks or coaching or mentoring team members toward individual goals with examples of measurable growth or promotion developing a new strategy or approach from scratch using structured analysis to identify what to cut and what to prioritize with a specific example of a strategy you shaped.
