Senior Product Manager Technical, Amazon Key

We are seeking a hands-on AI first Sr Product Manager - Tech who is passionate about building products from the ground up with a strong emphasis on design quality performance and customer satisfaction. This is not a coordination role; you will be in the craft of building writing specs making prototype making architectural trade-off decisions defining AI-powered experiences shipping product alongside engineers defining and tracking metrics and results. You will lead product development for consumer- and/or business-facing products globally spanning hardware firmware and software.

This role is inherently cross-functional. You will work closely with hardware and software engineering design operations finance legal business development sales marketing finance and executive teams to: 1) bring products to market 2) develop and grow business opportunities and 3) enhance our existing products and features. A successful candidate will be highly analytical resourceful customer-focused and will have a proven track record of shipping products end-to-end and delivering measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced high-autonomy environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the definition design development and launch of hardware and software products that delight customers hands-on from concept to ship

- Lead the development of product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis including AI-native and agentic AI experiences
- Define creative high-quality simple product roadmaps and make crisp prioritization decisions
- Write detailed business requirements user stories and technical specifications that engineering teams can build from directly
- Rapidly prototype solutions independently create mocks wireframes or basic functioning prototypes without waiting for engineering or design resources
- Partner deeply with software and hardware engineering teams daily participate in design reviews make trade-off calls and unblock delivery
- Manage backlog prioritization and trade-offs among customer feedback business opportunities performance and operational load
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic and technical issues that may impair the teams ability to meet goals
- Drive measurable business outcomes define success metrics track results and iterate based on data

A day in the life
You lead product development for our products from the ground up and lead hardware firmware and software verticals. You partner with product leaders engineering legal privacy marketing and more to deliver delightful customer experiences. You will own the features end to end and anticipate customer needs and plan for future features and improvements. You will advocate for customer experience and maintain strong ownership over customer experience.

- 5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- Experience working in a customer-facing environment
- Experience designing native mobile experiences (iOS Android and Kindle) and mobile-optimized websites

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
