About the team and the role:
eBay Inc. seeks Senior Product Manager 2 - Technical in Bellevue WA
What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Develop and execute the strategy and roadmap for eBays various storage offerings (Block Object) in addition to eBays media service which handles ingestion processing and serving of all text image and video on eBay. Identify and support high-value business-critical applications and initiatives that intersect with our cloud-native storage and database services. Develop a comprehensive vision strategy and product roadmap for next-gen media services cloud-native data storage and database capabilities to power eBays global operations and customer experiences. Partner with key stakeholders to drive successful adoption in service to the broader eBay business. Analyze market trends leverage user research and use data-driven insights to inform product decisions drive strategic investments and build compelling business cases. Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders across eBays cloud data team and drive alignment to plans in partnership with product engineering legal risk and support. Lead and own the end-to-end user experience and post-launch initiatives to optimize product performance gather customer feedback and leverage this data to drive continuous improvement. Perform evaluations of individuals and teams at each project checkpoint incorporating insights from internal cross-functional teams and making adjustments as needed to the technology and personnel budget. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Business Administration or a closely related field plus seven years of experience in the job offered product management or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Experience in defining AI and ML-powered processing of image and video uploads at global scale (3 years)
2. Deep knowledge of modern cloud-native data management systems including how they are architected and leveraged in building internet-scale user experiences (3 years)
3. Experience conducting technical competitive market analysis (3 years)
4. Experience building end user experiences powered by images and videos at internet scale (3 years)
5. Experience working on platforms at high scale within leading e-commerce companies (3 years)
Salary: $183600.00-245000.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Currently our Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience.
